MJM Announces NEW 40z

Built with the same high tech, Kevlar/Epoxy/Corecell construction, this revolutionary new 40 foot fuel-efficient design features computer-controlled twin sterndrives. The drives are independently operated in terms of rpm, direction and gearing to outperform any normal fixed twin screw boat in close quarters... all with a single joystick. This is comparable in maneuvering ability to the new Volvo IPS or Cummins-Mercruiser Zeus drives, but with less potential risk of damage. Sterndrives pop-up rather than shear off when striking underwater objects... and offer a far better chance of getting back to port unassisted.

Note that the beam and height of the 40z are 12' or less. More slips are available and the boat doesn't cost any more than a 29 footer to ship between Florida and New England by truck. Contact your MJM dealer to reserve a hull now. 7 boats are scheduled for delivery prior to July 2009, with the next available being #4 in March. See the preliminary layouts in the "40z Gallery" on the home page. Specifications and updates will be posted soon. Click on ad at left to see a full size version...appearing in the March 2008 issues of PASSAGEMAKER and MAINE BOATS, HOMES and HARBORS.
